India’s weightlifter LOVEPREET SINGH brings home Bronze Medal after lifting a total of 355kg ( including snatch and clean and jerk) in Men’s weightlifting 109kg category. Cameroon’s Junior Periclex bagged Gold (361kg) while Samoa’s Jack Opeloge claimed Silver after lifting a total of 358kg.
India is now currently placed at sixth position with 5 Golds, 5 silver and 4 Bronze taking the total tally to 14 medals.
