Official: Sergio Romero, a former Manchester United goalie, has joined Boca Juniors on a free transfer. Romero signs with Boca until June 2023.
With Boca Juniors, the 35-year-old goalkeeper has agreed to a two-and-a-half-year deal. Romero called his decision to join Boca Juniors “one of the best decisions of his life” and stated it was a “step forward in his career.” The Argentinean’s most recent team was Venezia CF of Italy, where he made 16 Serie A appearances.
