West Ham has put up a fresh offer for Hans Vanaken. Brugge is not persuaded despite the €11m guaranteed fee and add-ons. Club Brugge is unlikely to allow their captain leave with anything close to that amount nine days before the transfer window closes.
With the impending signing of Chelsea left back Emerson for £15 million, the Hammers are continuing their recent flurry of transfer activity. Moyes wants to give Aaron Cresswell, who will turn 33 later this year, competition at full back.
