A deal is being worked on at West Ham that will see them sign 24-year-old Brazilian midfield Lucas Pacquetá. A bid of around 40€ million has been made. There has been no agreement yet, but there are advancements over fees and personal terms.
When West Ham boss David Moyes was asked about Pacquetá, he said: “I’ve lost count of how many players we’ve bid for. We’ve bid for a lot. If I told you who, you would burst out laughing.”
Moyes also confirmed that West Ham have come up with an improved bid for 30-year-old Belgian midfielder Hans Vanaken who plays for Club Brugge after a bid of 11€ and add-ons was rejected yesterday.
