After the deal for Hakim Ziyech never materialized, 28-year-old Argentinian midfielder Lucas Ocampos, who currently plays for La Liga club Sevilla has been Ajax’s main target.
Adnan Januzaj is still being worked on by Sevilla as a winger.
Ajax also have their sights set on a new goalkeeper. Odysseas Vlachodimos is their target.
