India names 15 member for T20 World Cup 2022 which is going to happen in Australiua, include Ravichandran Ashwin and Harshal Patel. The two won the two spots that were up for grabs when the selection was decided over Ravi Bishnoi and Avesh Khan.
The Rohit Sharma-led team will be without star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who recently underwent surgery for an injury to his right knee. There will be a like-for-like replacement in the form of Axar Patel.
Ravi Bishnoi, who only played in one game against Pakistan, will only be going as reserve because of Ashwin’s experience and the two other available spinning options in the squad, that is both Yuzvendra Chahal and Axar Patel.
Jasprit Bumrah, who was sidelined and missed the Asia Cup 2022 in UAE, is back to improve the team’s fast bowling squad. Despite getting few opportunities in the Asia Cup, Deepak Hooda maintains his position in the meanwhile. The batting order is the same as it was for the Asia Cup, and Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik are the two possible wicketkeepers.
