Navdeep Saini will be sidelined by an injury for the upcoming ODI series between India A and New Zealand as well as the Duleep Trophy, which is currently being played in venues throughout Tamil Nadu. As a replacement, Rishi Dhawan has been named in the India A team.
Due to hamstring issues, Saini was unable to bowl during North Zone’s match versus South Zone in Salem. Before getting ill, the 29-year-old bowler had just bowled 11.2 overs (1/58) of South Zone’s first innings.
He did, however, participate in the team’s initial batting contributing just four runs. For the second inning, he opted not to enter the field. The NCA will likely get a report about him.
