Former Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino is set to hold talks with Ligue 1 club Nice after missing out on the Chelsea job to Graham Potter. The French club want the former PSG head coach to take over Lucien Favre in the hot seat. Mauricio Pochettino is convinced by the OGC Nice project and is ready to take over the hot seat. The French club have begun contractual discussions with the former PSG coach.
In the other news, The Emir of Qatar, owner of PSG, would like to buy Sampdoria. Sampdoria have been struggling financially since owner and President Massimo Ferrero handed over the reins following his arrest for fraudulent bankruptcy in December 2021. Although a member of the Qatari royal family, Khalid Faleh al Thani is not believed to be from the same branch that runs Paris Saint-Germain.
