India will be debuting MotoGP race in 2023

Moto GP: Riders from as many as 19 countries will be participating in the event, which will give a major push to trade and tourism in India. Grand Prix of Bharat, the inaugural MotoGP World Championships race, will be held at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida, providing a huge boost to the struggling Indian motorsport scene. In order to organize the top two-wheel racing event in India for the following seven years, MotoGP commercial rights owner Dorna and Noida-based race producers Fairstreets Sports inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday. It is a 7-year deal which starts from 2023-2024 to 2030-2031 season.

“MotoGP also has plans to also introduce MotoE into the Indian racing scenario which will not only be a first in Asia but a significant green initiative with net zero carbon emission,” the promoters of the event said in a release.

It just not only increase tourism, but also increase employment about 5000 jobs on the weekend race says many experts.
