In a letter to the state associations, Sourav Ganguly also discussed a women’s IPL and stated that the IPL 2023 would revert to the traditional home and away format. The next season of the men’s IPL will also return to the home-and-away system, with all 10 teams playing their home matches at their respective Stadiums.
The 2022 edition was played in Mumbai and Pune and the 2021 edition was first held in a few sites in India before shifting to the UAE and the 2020 IPL was wholly held in the UAE. The three most recent IPLs have all taken place in limited venues.
Tentative Dates For the Upcoming IPL Mini Auction 2023 :
Indian Premier League (IPL) mini auction for the 2023 season, the most probable date is mid of December tentatively 16th. During recent informal discussions, franchises who appear to have gotten the go-ahead from the BCCI management have discussed the preliminary schedule.
There will undoubtedly be a mini-auction, but the venue has not yet been chosen. The home and away format of IPL 2023 is likely to begin during the fourth week of March, but the league’s start dates are still to be decided.
Every Franchises will enter the auction with reserves of at least INR five Crores. As wage budget for this year auction will be 90 Crores which is 5 crores more than last year. The club’s money account might increase if it releases or trades players.
