Recently Southgate’s England have been relegated from the Nations League for the first time in history. 2020 Euro finalist England, have been struggling unable to score non-penalty goals. England, who have produced biggest talents in recent years like Mason Mount, Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden, Bukayo Saka and with experienced players such as Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling and Kyle Walker, who are all the biggest names of modern era of football couldn’t acquire a win. England fans have been fuming with the Southgate’s tactics and have shown hatred towards the Lions.
Right now, fans have been especially furious for dropping players like Jadon Sancho, Ben White, Marcus Rashford in the likes of Jack Grealish and Harry Maguire, who couldn’t get the game time from their respective clubs. These recent speculations starting from the team selection to the tactics, Southgate run may be over soon.
World Cup isn’t too far as it starts from November 20 and will be completed by December 18, the chances of Lions winning the trophy is less. England is in Group B with USA, Wales and Iran. England have won World Cup only once in 1966 against West Germany, beating them 4-2.
