India A Defeats New Zealand A In The 3rd And Last ODI By 106 Runs And Winning The Series 3-0

India A won the third and final One Day international by 106 runs to defeat New Zealand A and whitewashing them 3-0. India A after electing to bat first, India A captain Sanju Samson top scored with a 68-ball 54.

With the help of half-centuries from both Tilak Varma and Shardul Thakur, the hosts were able to set a challenging 285-run target for New Zealand A. Two sixes and a boundary were hit during Sanju’s innings, while Tilak Varma and Shardul Thakur struck three sixes each.

Before Dane Cleaver was caught by Rahul Chahar in reply, Chad Bowes and Dane Cleaver stitched together an early stand of 52 runs. Raj Bawa, an all-rounder, distinguished out with the impressive stats of 4 for 11 in his quota 5.3 overs, while Kuldeep Yadav and Rahul Chahar each took two wickets.

The India U-19 star Raj Bawa, who also helped his team bowl the visitors out for 178 runs in 38.3 overs, completely destroyed the New Zealand tail enders.  All-round scorer for New Zealand A, wicketkeeper-batsman Dane Cleaver, scored 83 runs in 89 balls, including 9 fours and 2 sixes.
