RB Leipzig’s French forward Christopher Nkunku had a secret medical examination in September in Frankfurt, confirmed by reporter Fabrizio Romano. Chelsea sent long term contract bid to Nkunku to prepare the deal for 2023. It’s not done yet, as Chelsea & RB Leipzig will speak about fee, which is about the €60m release clause, or different deal structure. All this with the aim of signing for Chelsea next summer for €60M. “No comment”, says Graham Potter about Christopher Nkunku medical tests with Chelsea. All parties wanted to keep the medical secret. Chelsea will keep it quiet too, now waiting to reach full agreement with RB Leipzig. Nothing done yet, as Chelsea & Leipzig will discuss about fee/payment terms. Plan B is triggering €60m clause in 2023.
