The South African team for the upcoming 2022 ICC T20 World Cup now includes Marco Jansen. The 22-year old, who was a reserve, fills Dwaine Pretorius spot in the 15 member squad. After hurting his left thumb during the third Twenty20 international match against India in Indore.
Dwaine Pretorius was already eliminated from the world cup. Marco Jansen replaced him and was now a part of the team for the T20 World Cup as well as the ODI squad. Bjorn Fortuin and Andile Phehlukwayo will join Lizaard Williams as substitutes for the T20 World Cup 2022.
