T20 World Cup 2022 : Group 1 Sri Lanka vs New Zealand Pre-Match Analysis And Both Teams Predicted Playing XI

New Zealand’s skipper Kane Williamson will play their third encounter in the ongoing Super 12 phase of the T20 World Cup, New Zealand will take on Sri Lanka on Saturday at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

After two games, Sri Lanka has two points meanwhile New Zealand has three points. Every game in Group 1 of the Super 12 is now significant due to the abandoned matches. Australia, England, Ireland, and New Zealand currently have all three points, and there is still much at stake in the games that remain.

If they overcome Sri Lanka, New Zealand will be the favourites to advance from Group 1’s semifinals. But Sri Lanka will try to bounce back after their loss against Australia and New Zealand will be hoping to get their 2nd win after which their 2nd match got washed out against Afghanistan.
