India vs Sri Lanka Pre-Match Analysis And Their Predicted Playing XI As 2nd T20I Will Take Place Today In Pune

India, who has a 1-0 series lead, will play Sri Lanka in the second Twenty20 International at the MCA Stadium in Pune today. At Wankhede Stadium, India won game by the small margin of 2 runs and will now try to win the series going into game 3 on Saturday.

Due to a knee injury, Sanju Samson was unable to participate in the T20I series. Jitesh Sharma, a Vidarbha wicketkeeper batter, has been drafted into the team to replace Samson. In the first T20I, Samson damaged his left knee while trying to field a ball close to the boundary ropes. 

Sri Lanka though lost the first T20I, will try to bounce back and try to level the T20I series in Pune. Captain Shanaka and his team will have bring their A game to beat India as India will try to make changes in their playing XI. Dasun Shanaka will also try different combination as their top order and middle order failed to contribute in the first T20I.

Sri Lanka : Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis(WK), Dhananjaya de Silva, Charith Asalanka, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Dasun Shanaka(C), Wanindu Hasaranga, Chamika Karunaratne, Maheesh Theekshana, Kasun Rajitha, Dilshan Madushanka.
