Today in Sharjah, Pakistan and Afghanistan will play in a crucial Asia Cup Super 4 match. In order to save their hopes of reaching the final, as well as those of the Indian team, Afghanistan will strive to surprise the Babar Azam-led team. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s victory ensures that both it and Sri Lanka will be in the final if they both win.
With differing fortunes, Afghanistan and Pakistan enter the competition. Pakistan’s first game of the competition ended in a loss to India, but they defeated Hong Kong in the group stage to advance to the Super 4, where they beat their arch rivals in the first game of super 4.
However, despite defeating both Dasun Shanaka’s Sri Lankan side and Bangladesh in the group stage, Afghanistan were outplayed by Dasun Shanaka’s led Sri Lanka side in the Super 4 stage. But, Afghanistan will try their best to stay alive in the Asia Cup Competition.
