Australian Open 2023 : Sania Mirza-Rohan Bopanna Beats Neal Skupski-Desirae Krawczyk In Mixed Doubles And Qualifies For The Australian Open Finals

Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna advanced to the mixed doubles finals of the Australian Open 2023 after defeating the third-seeded team of England’s Neal Skupski and the United States’ Desirae Krawczyk by 7-6 (5), 6-7 (5),10-6.

After displaying great fortitude to serve out the opening set and prevail in a suspenseful tiebreaker. The second set, which was full of twists and turns, was midway into it before the nervousness started to show.

Bopanna’s typically dependable service was broken after he received an early break and made two unusual forehand unforced errors. They promptly recovered the break thanks to some strong net play and Sania’s return, however they were once again put under pressure by these two.

In the Australian Open 2023 mixed doubles semifinal’s deciding set, a ten points tiebreaker, Sania and Bopanna jumped off to an excellent five points lead and held it from then on to win the tie breaker 10-6 and progress to the Australian Open finals.

In their final match, Sania-Bopanna, the duo will compete in their first ever Grand Slam final. The duo Sania and Bopanna will be facing the Brazilian Duo L. Stefani and R. Matos in the Australian Open 2023 Grand Slam final.
