Stefanos Tsitsipas defeated Karen Khachanov by 7-6 (2), 6-4, 6-7 (6), 6-3 on Friday to advance to the Australian Open 2023 final for the first time. Earlier in the match, Stefanos Tsitsipas had a harder time strictly following the rules than he did outplaying his opponent.
However, he managed to recover after blowing two match points late in the third set. The number three seeded Stefanos Tsitsipas had a 0-3 record in semifinal matches at the Melbourne Park.
But, in the end, Stefanos Tsitsipas ultimately advanced to his second Grand Slam final match of his career, where he will be battling for the Title.
Stefanos Tsitsipas will be facing either one of T. Paul or N. Djokovic in the Australian Open 2023 finals, who are now playing against each other in the semi-finals.
