Bangladesh Announces Team For T20 World Cup 2022, Mahmudullah Misses Out

Mahmudullah was left off of the 15-member Bangladesh squad that would represent that nation in the 2022 Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia. The Bangladesh side that recently participated in the Asia Cup in Dubai was missing six players, including the seasoned all-rounder.

The departure of Anamul Haque, Mohammad Naim, Parvez Hossain, Mahedi Hasan, as well as Mahmudullah and Mushfiqur Rahim, who just announced his retirement from Twenty20 Internationals, has provided room for the inclusion of Nazmul Hossain, Liton Das, Yasir Ali, Nurul Hasan, and Hasan Mahmud.

Shoriful Islam, Rishad Hossain, Mahedi Hasan, and Soumya Sarkar are among the travelling reserves. The 15 member squad will also compete in Bangladesh’s tri-series match against Pakistan in New Zealand before to the world cup, along with the four travelling reserves.

Shakib Al Hasan, Sabbir Rahman, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Afif Hossain, Mossadek Hossain, Liton Das, Yasir Ali, Nurul Hasan, Mustafizur Rahman, Saifuddin, Taskin Ahmed, Ebadot Hossain, Hasan Mahmud, Najmul Hossain, Nasum Ahmed.

Travelling Reserves : Shoriful Islam, Rishad Hossain, Mahedi Hasan and Soumya Sarkar.
