West Ham complete a successful permanent deal for Burnley winger Maxwel Cornet. The 25-year-old Ivorian has been acquired for a cost of 17.5ÂŁ million guaranteed fee. Cornet had a good season last time scoring 9 goals and an assist to his name despite Burnley ending up being relegated to the Championship.
The deal sees Cornet with a five-year contract at West Ham with a further one-year option. West Ham have now signed five players this summer with Gianluca Scamacca, Nayef Aguerd, Alphonse Areola and Flynn Downes being the other four.
