Gurdeep Singh Indian Weightlifter Wins Bronze Medal In Men’s Final : CWG22

Indian weightlifter Gurdeep Singh won the bronze medal in the men’s 109+ kg final on Wednesday at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022. He had lifted 390 kg in total. On his first attempt, Singh failed to lift 167 kg in the snatch category.

On his final attempt, he successfully lifted 223 kg. With a total weight of 390 kg, Singh took home the bronze medal. India currently leads the medal count in the 2022 Commonwealth Games with 17. The majority of the medals won in weightlifting have been.
