Jasprit Bumrah ho has been the Indian key bowler in recent years for all formats suffers from back injury which made BCCI to drop in IND vs SA series as well as he may also be not able to play in the T20 WC.
Bumrah, who has one of the lowest economy 6.62 for an fast bowler in T20 Internationals and his average is about 20.2 makes him one of the best bowlers for India if not in the world. He has been good especially in the death overs clinching crucial wickets and restrict opponents to score runs.
Amid growing doubts about Bumrah’s fitness, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly provided an update, revealing that it is too early to address Bumrah as there is time left before the big event. “Jasprit Bumrah is not out of the T20 World Cup yet. We are just a few steps away from the World Cup. Let’s not rush,” Ganguly told Rev Sports.
Mohammed Siraj is the replacement if Bumrah isn’t playing in the World Cup. There have been many speculations that despite the BCCI’s comments on his fitness he may not be able to play. He has suffered from many injuries throughout his career which has always been the main issue for the Blues. The other option is Mohammad Shami who is yet to recover from COVID-19.
