Rafael Leão’s goal scoring form has made him the target of several clubs around the world. All looking to bring in not just a great player, but one who can’t stop scoring at the moment.
Rafael Leão, whose 4 goals this season place him in the race for the golden boot is apparently the most important transfer target for The Blues. It is not clear whether Chelsea have made a bid for the 23-year old, but AC MIilan have already told the press that the player is not going anywhere. Leão , though, when speaking to DAZN back in February of this year, insisted he was happy with the Rossoneri. He said: “I’m happy with AC Milan and I want to make history here. I’m really loving my life with this club since three years. My lawyers are already in direct contact with the club.”. It is understood that Milan currently value Leao north of the £100million mark. However, by the time next summer comes around, if he doesn’t agree fresh terms, he will have about 12 months remaining on his contract at the San Siro.
Graham Potter on Rafael Leão: “I’ve been really impressed with Rafa Leão whenever I’ve watched Milan games, he’s a top player”. “In terms of what happens in the future, who knows whether he can do this in Premier League or not. He’s got the capability, for sure”.
