India Legends Defeats Sri Lanka Legends In The Finals Of The Road Safety World Series Season 2 And Win Their Second Title In A Row

 In the 2022 Road Safety World Series Finals, India Legends comfortably retained their trophy in Raipur by upsetting Sri Lanka Legends by a margin of 33 runs. India Legends have ended a spectacular season with a second straight triumph in the Road Safety World Series 2022 title. With the bat, Naman Ojha excelled, becoming just the second player in RSWS record to score a century.

Additionally, he amassed 108 runs without getting out, which was the most runs by a player during the span of the competition’s two seasons. India Legends skipper Sachin Tendulkar, after electing to bat first, the Indian Legends put on a show to score an excellent score of 195/6 in 20 Overs after owing to a strong performance from Naman Ojha and vital contribution from Vinay Kumar36 off runs. 

For Sri Lanka Legends, Nuwan Kulasekara took 3/29, including wickets of Sachin Tendulkar, Suresh Raina, and Yuvraj Singh. With his two wickets, Isuru Udana made a contribution. After that, the bowlers for India Legends put on a team effort, reducing their opponents to 41/4 in 7.5 Overs. A brief period of improvement came to an end on January 19 with Asela Gunaratne’s firing.

On the other hand, Ishan Jayaratne and Mahela Udawatte teamed together to lead a late comeback and restore hope in their team’s dugout. Jayaratne scored a quickfire fifty, while Udawatte made 26 out of 19 shots. Vinay Kumar grabbed two wickets in two deliveries in the 19th over to destroy Sri Lanka’s hopes.
