Team India is prepared to face New Zealand in a three match T20I series that will begin on Friday in Ranchi after clinching a 3-0 clean sweep in the ODIs. All rounder Hardik Pandya will be oneonce again be wearing the captain’s hat, with Suryakumar Yadav serving as his Vice Captain, as players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are rested.
Under Hardik’s captaincy, India defeated Sri Lanka 2-1 in the three match T20I series earlier this month. It would be exciting to see who will be securing a position in the Playing XI for the opening T20I encounter on Friday in Ranchi after Prithvi Shaw, who was named in the part of 15 member squad for the T20Is against New Zealand.
New Zealand on the other hand will be lead by Mitchell Santner will be eager to do well in the three match T20I series after an average ODI series against India and will have to bring their A game and have to be on top to try and win the T20I series which is starting today.
