India and South Africa will play the second T20I of the three-match series on Sunday at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. After winning by an 8-wicket margin in the series opener in Thiruvananthapuram, the team headed by Rohit Sharma leads the series 1-0.
Therefore, the Proteas must win the second T20I if they want to stay in the series. India would be hungry to capture yet another victory and series triumph in the penultimate Twenty20 International encounter before the Twenty20 World Cup in Australia.
In the first game, which India won easily, five bowlers were played. It will be interesting to see if they are tempted to exclude Dinesh Karthik or Rishabh Pant from the starting XI in order to provide a sixth bowling option. It will be interesting whom does Rohit Sharma plays. India will also look to seal the series today itself.
