Manchester City’s John Stones will be sidelined after sustaining a hamstring injury. Manchester Derby will be the next game for Man city, which will be missed by Stones. But ,very good strategy in the summer when City board decided to sign Akanji on permanent deal in the final days as ‘jolly/opportunity’ and with no plans to sell any CB. It’s called strategy, one of the reasons why Man City are doing great. Akanji is a new arrival at The Etihad and has already expressed his determination to do well for the club and impress manager Pep Guardiola. Akanji has been solid for the cityzens and has the potential to become a regular starter. Manuel Akanji was an option for Manchester United in the summer. However, it did not happen as he was mainly admired by Ralf Rangnick – who then left his position. Man City moved late on in the window and secured the player. CB is Man City’s most stacked position, and Dias, Aké and Akanji have played better than stones this season so far.
