Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Joe Shields as their Co-Director of Recruitment and Talent. Shields makes the move to Stamford Bridge from Southampton. He is well known for his work at Southampton and Manchester City in finding new talents.
Chelsea owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali had their share of thoughts on the signing.
“We have a clear plan and will adopt a modern, data-driven philosophy – focused on elite emerging talent. We’re now assembling a deep and collaborative management team who are eager to build a continued sustained winner at Chelsea.” they said.
