After securing a deal with the WWE, YouTuber Logan Paul is prepared to rekindle his rivalry with pro wrestler The Miz. The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) confirmed Logan Paul’s signing to what is thought to be a multi-year contract on Friday. Sources claim that the social media celebrity signed a multi-event contract that binds him to the business until 2023.
He has already decided to take on The Miz, a former tag team comrade. While competing against The Mysterios in The Showcase of the Immortals at WrestleMania, Paul teamed up with the iconic wrestler, only to get backstabbed by him with a skull-crushing finisher.
The rivals are slated to square off at Summerslam at the end of the month.
Logan Paul in a video message recorded at the WWE Headquarters, stated,
The Miz is dead to me, he is my enemy, and I signed this contract so I could beat his ass at Summerslam.
Many congratulated him for his feat, notably his former rival, KSI. But there were some criticisms as well. Logan was insulted by The Miz in the ring and in a series of tweets following the news.
Paul will compete in the ring at several WWE premium live events, as well as make TV appearances dependent on storylines.
