Yesterday, it was confirmed that Kylian Mbappé really wants to leave PSG in January. Kylian Mbappé, not happy with Paris Saint-Germain as current situation is really tense. He wants to leave the club, as soon as possible. Paris Saint-Germain feel he’s really putting pressure on the club but they have no intention to sell Mbappé in January. Their newley signed Sporting Director, Luis Campos also intends to quit PSG as he feels betrayed by the board as well as Mbappé. PSG demanded €400m to sell Kylian Mbappé this summer after he signed his contract and it was reported by Santi Aouna.
But PSG director Luís Campos gave an interview like he loves staying at PSG : “Mbappé has never told me anything about it [leaving in January]. I deny this info”, tells Olivier Tallaron. Luís Campos will publicly spoak on the Kylian Mbappé news before PSG’s game against Benfica: “Mbappé has never told me about his intention to leave in January. We speak with him, Messi, Ney… we’re very happy to be here”, “Mbappé has never told me or Nasser Al Khelaifi that he wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain in January”, “It’s not true that I’m leaving Paris. I’m very happy to be here, I’m under contract for the next three years”. “My mission is to bring important trophies here at PSG”, tells Canal Plus. Is Mbappé happy here? You should ask him, it’s a serious question. I see him working as a top professional”. Luis Campos: “I speak to Kylian Mbappé every day and he has never told me that he wants to leave the club in January”, tells RMC Sport. “I didn’t have the chance to speak with Kylian about this story”, PSG manager Galtier said after the game. Carlo Ancelotti on Kylian Mbappé in January: “If Mbappé will come in January? You have the courage to ask that… I won’t answer”. “I don’t have to answer”, Ancelotti added to RMC Sport.
Kylian Mbappé has admitted to those close to him: “We were wrong, and me first” about his new PSG contract. Real Madrid have NEVER abandoned the Kylian Mbappé pursuit, even less for the summer of 2023. Mario Cortegana: “Sources close to the PSG dressing room say Leo Messi now holds as much power as he had in Barça. Kylian Mbappé considers that it is not the most favourable environment to win the Champions League.” Real Madrid consider it impossible for Kylian Mbappé to leave PSG in January and very difficult for him to leave in the summer. The Spanish club think it would be illogical for PSG to agree to a sale now. PSG hope Kylian Mbappé’s actions are a cry for help rather than a serious intention to leave the club. They do not deny that the Frenchman is unhappy. PSG considers Kylian Mbappé as a player worth between €300m-€350M. Kylian Mbappé’s entourage have said that the problem with PSG goes beyond football. The climate and environment around the French star is becoming difficult to live with. Christophe Galtier could follow Kylian Mbappé and Luis Campos out the PSG door in January. PSG would be interested in a player swap deal with Liverpool for Kylian Mbappé and Mo Salah. Christophe Galtier was not Nasser Al-Khelaïfi’s choice to succeed Mauricio Pochettino this summer. It was Luis Campos’ choice. The president of PSG wanted to bring in Thiago Motta.
