In recent developments, Portuguese forward Rafael Leao, who currently plays for AC Milan, has decided to sack Jorge Mendes, his current agent. The decision comes after Mendes reportedly was making efforts into a move that would see Rafael move out of Milan.
Meanwhile, AC Milan are scheduled to meet and discuss about the player’s future with Rafael’s father and a proposal is expected to be made in the next few days. The discussion would see them push for a move until 2027.
The 23 year-old’s current contract expires in 2024 with a release clause of €150 million. Milan director Frederic Massara added on the situation saying, “We’re confident on signing a new deal”.
