Team India, led by Rohit Sharma, will take on Pakistan in the tournament’s opening game on Sunday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Rain is expected on Sunday, therefore it is important to think about whether India may alter its starting XI lineup as a result. The key players for India will be their top 4 batters who are in prime form and Hardik with all-round ability skills.
Keep in mind that during the second Twenty20 International between India and Australia at Nagpur earlier this year, which was trimmed to 8 overs per side due to the soggy outfield, India fielded seven batters, including Rishabh Pant. Another selection problem would be deciding whether or not to choose Mohammed Shami.
On the other side, for Pakistan, they will be led by Babar Azam and will stick to Shadab Khan and Nawaz for their All-round skills and Pakistan bowlers will be challenged by the Indian batters. Rizwan will be the their Wicket-Keeper and batter.
Both Teams Predicted Playing XI :
India : Rohit Sharma(C), KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik(WK), Axar Patel, Ravichandran Ashwin/Yuzvendra Chahal, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Harshal Patel/Mohammed Shami, Arshdeep Singh.
Pakistan : Â Babar Azam(C), Mohammad Rizwan(WK), Shan Masood, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Haider Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Asif Ali, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, Shaheen Shah Afridi.
