Official: Following the morning’s formal agreement signing, Liam Delap has been assigned to Stoke City on loan until June 2023. Man City rejected Southampton’s offers for Delap on a permanent basis.
The 19-year-old striker will play for Michael O’Neill’s Championship team for the balance of the 2022–23 season. Delap is following in his father Rory’s footsteps by moving to the Britannia Stadium, who made more than 200 appearances for Stoke during the course of his own highly successful career.
