The 24-year-old will initially join the Italian Serie A team on a season-long loan, with the possibility of making the switch permanent the following summer. The Croatian international joined the Hammers in the summer of 2021 after joining CSKA Moscow. Since then, he has made 31 appearances, scoring once in a 4-1 Premier League victory at Watford in December of the previous year.
