Wolves targeting Belgian centre-back

According to Wolves manager Bruno Lage’s recent interview, Wolves are interested in signing Belgium defender Jason Denayer. The Belgium international is available as a free agent. In the interview, the Wolves manager Bruno Lage said, “Let’s see what happens in the next days, I know Denayer very well…”. He also stated that, “We’re happy with our centre-backs, but there’s a gap and if we have a chance to bring in one experienced player would be better”.

Wolves will offer Ruben Neves a new contract, Bruno Lage confirms: “We need time to sort Ruben a new contract”. Fabrizio Romano confirms that Liverpool have never approached Wolves for Neves on Deadline Day as they only wanted a loan deal.
